Family-run Vietnamese · Salt Lake County
Vietnamese, the way it's meant to be.
Two kitchens, one family, and a broth that simmers overnight. Pho, vermicelli, lomein, and fried rice in Taylorsville and West Jordan.
About
Cooking the food we grew up eating.
Vietopia is family-run. The recipes come from our kitchen at home, scaled up for our two dining rooms in Salt Lake County. We don't cut corners on the broth, the herbs, or the bread. If a dish needs twelve hours to taste right, it gets twelve hours.

Recipes from home
Every dish on the menu came out of our family kitchen first. We adjusted volume, not flavor.
Fresh, every day
Herbs, vegetables, and proteins come in fresh. The broth simmers from scratch overnight, every night.

FAQ
Questions we hear a lot.
How long do you simmer your pho broth?
At least twelve hours. We start with beef and oxtail bones, char ginger and onion over open flame, and add star anise, cinnamon, clove, and cardamom. Nothing instant, nothing shortcut.
Do you have vegan pho?
Yes. We make a separate vegetable broth with mushrooms, ginger, and the same spice profile, served with tofu and fresh herbs. Look for the V tag on the menu.
Is your pho gluten-free?
The rice noodles and the broth are gluten-free. Hoisin sauce contains wheat, so skip it if you avoid gluten. Ask the staff for a GF-safe version of any dish.
Do you cater?
Yes. We cater offices, parties, and events from ten to one hundred plus guests. See the catering page for packages and the lead form.
What are your hours?
Both locations are open every day, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. If we're closing early for a holiday, we post it on Instagram.
